Vincenzo Viviani was Galileo's assistant in the Villa from 1639 until Galileo died in 1642. Tito Lessi's 1892 picture of Galileo teaching Vincenzo Viviani gives some idea of what the furnished rooms might have looked like. Detail 28 shows a ceiling detail with a link to another possible interior.
