E-UROPE seeks to provide a series of virtual tours of important events in the history of Western science and technology in their urban context. They can be enjoyed on-line, but are designed to encourage a first-hand look, particularly by students who have the opportunity to study in Europe. We begin, as might be expected, where many feel modern science got its start: Galileo's Florence. Later additions to this site will cover other cities and events. |
